I was raised in the rhythm of ambition — chasing productivity and burning out quietly along the way. When war broke out in my home country, everything shifted. I needed a way to process the grief, the anxiety, the helplessness — so I began pouring candles. First as a grounding ritual. Then as a way to raise money for Ukraine, exchanging candles for donations.
What started as a small act of care became something more. OUT OF OFFICE was born from a quiet rebellion: a refusal to let hustle culture erase beauty, intention, or rest.
A portion of every sale supports ongoing aid in Ukraine, keeping that original spark of purpose alive in everything we create.
Designed to Transport
Our candles are like window seats: tiny views into somewhere new. We collaborate with illustrators from around the world to create custom artwork that captures the feeling of looking out the airplane window — that quiet thrill of leaving, of heading somewhere unknown. Each label design reflects a different earthscape, imagined through the lens of travel and wonder.

We believe in doing things the long way. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using clean burning soy-coconut wax, cotton wicks, and scents blended for feeling, not just fragrance. We source ingredients from trusted U.S. suppliers and stamp every jar with its pour date — because freshness isn’t just for food.
